In November we held our club Topic contest and what an inspirational evening it was.

With eleven ladies taking part the audience were treated an evening of well crafted and superbly delivered speeches. Topics ranged from creativity and vision to laughter and music. The topics were varied and certainly challenged our contestants but all they all rose to the challenge and performed brilliantly under pressure.

Topics offer speakers an opportunity to think on their feet and craft their speaking skills so that they are able to deliver a speech with limited preparation.

It was very difficult to choose a winner but our guest judges Neil Harvey and David Bolt were given the task and crowned our top three as follows;

First Place – Helen Shah

Second Place – Kathy Lyons

Third Place – Kayley Wilson

Congratulations to all who took part and to our very worthy winners. The audience were most definitely inspired by you all.
