At the end of March, Stockport Ladybrook Speakers Club celebrated their 39th year of the ASC Charter.

With nearly 60 members and guests in attendance it was an opportunity for everyone to come together and celebrate our wonderful club. The evening was expertly hosted by club member Gaynor who had the privilege of welcoming Neil Harvey. Neil gave a toast to the club and our Club president Sue responded.

Peter Sykes was our guest speaker for the evening. He retold tales of his life as a junior doctor offering up some interesting insights into life with a stethoscope.

A very enjoyable evening was had, and it gave members a chance to socialise outside the meeting room and meet members from other clubs.
