What an evening we had at our recent speech contest. A total of eleven ladies expertly delivered speeches covering a wide variety of topics. From football to friendships and swimming to slimming, the evening really did have it all!!

Our speakers did themselves and the club proud as they confidently delivered their lines to a supportive crowd.

It wasn’t hard to see why the judges took a little longer than normal to determine the winners, as all contestants were worthy of taking the crown.

In the end it was Geo and Patsy who were crowned joint winners with third place going to Helen Shah.

Congratulations to everyone who took part and a special mention and thank you to our judges on the evening Anne, David and Bev.
