Stockport Ladybrook Speakers Club enjoyed a lively and rewarding meeting last night, packed with learning, laughter and inspiration.

The evening began with a valuable education session which focused on the art of evaluations. Bev shared practical advice and helpful techniques to support members in developing strong, constructive feedback skills — perfectly timed as the club prepares for it’s own evaluation competition.

Members were then treated to two engaging speeches, each delivered with enthusiasm and thought-provoking content. The energy continued with a fun and fast-paced Topics session, themed around celebration days throughout the year, which brought plenty of creativity and humour to the room.

A highlight of the evening was Tracy receiving the Inspiration Award for her very first speech, “Careful Isn’t a Personality Trait.” In an incredible debut, Tracy spoke with conviction and confidence, leaving a strong impression on everyone present.
