Sunday 23rd February, saw a group of ladies from Stockport Ladybrook Speakers Club attend the Reginal Conference in Haydock.

Our group was well represented as always, with Gay, Christine and Penny all taking part in the competitions and Gaynor chairing the topics competition.

With plenty of support from the rest of the club we are delighted to tell us that Penny was awarded second place in the speech competition and Christine was awarded second place in the evaluation competition.

Well done to everyone who took part on the day and thank you to all those members who were there to support our competitors.
